MANAGED SAFETY

What HEMIC's Safety Credit asks for.

A current written program and usable records are a starting point—not a promise of a discount.

A written safety program should reflect how your crews actually work. Keep training records, inspection findings and follow-up actions together so they can be reviewed.

Well-run written safety programs may help you qualify for HEMIC’s Safety Credit: up to 18% for construction employers and 13% for others. Confirm with your insurer. Eligibility and the credit available to your company are determined by your insurer.

Ask your insurer for the current requirements before making financial plans around a credit. We can help organize the program and supporting records; we do not determine or guarantee your insurance rate.

General information, not a site-specific plan or an insurer’s eligibility determination.
